Well I did live in Brighton for ten years or so before moving to Crawley. I still get down to Brighton, Worthing, Eastbourne and over The Solent when the opportunity arises.
Hastings is well worth a visit too, especially the Old Town

Rottingdean, Saltdean, Pevensey i am residing at rye for a while now
