Hiya Cindi!

Welcome to the forum :+1:
My local pub hosts at least two ghosts! On the original site was a 13th century prison/holding house and quite possibly a gallows!

But getting back to the present day, if you care to indulge in strange goings on and things that go bump in the night then this particular forum could well be the place for you :+1:

Enjoy!

Hello Chilliboot, I see I am not able to post my long reply, so I’ll see if I can re-add them differently to complete my sentence/reply.

There are ghosts aplenty in England Cindi. I mustn’t forget Scotland, Ireland and Wales too otherwise I might get into serious trouble. I wouldn’t want to end up as an apparition myself  I’m sure there are many fascinating stories of the paranormal in the US too. A workmate of mine was telling me that she had seen the spectre of a woman in the pub I’m referring too, it’s a fascinating and sometimes compelling subject! :slightly_smiling_face:

No worries about the long reply, maybe just take your time and get used to the forum. If you get stuck on techy type matters just shout out and someone on OFC will come to you’re aid :+1:
Alas it’s unlikely to be me, I’m technically incompetent! :sob::wink:

QuintESensual, you crack me up!

Chilliboot, you are so king, patient, and understanding. And I thank you! I have a hard time reading ones replies, ever since I had a stroke which affected my vision, plus I only have partial vision. But with the help of my youngest daughter, who taught me how to re-learn how to read, and with special reading glasses, I am doing better.

Part One of my 1st reply to Chilliboot. I was intrigued after reading your reply. I also appreciate you responding to my post. I found your response/reply to be quite fascinating. When I was younger, I had a pen pal from England, who had taken care of an elderly gentleman. She had informed he there were strange things happening at this place she worked. She was referring to ghosts while she was there. I found that to be quite fascinating!

Gosh!
I’m sorry to read about your stroke. Having support from family must be a blessing, it’s good to know that you’re making such progress.

Part Two of my 2nd reply to Chilliboot. Also, when my youngest daughter, who happened to be married, and while she, her husband and baby daughter were lining at their home, she told me of some strange things that were happening while living in their house. I’m sure her baby daughter could see this, as babies, maybe not all babies, but some, can communicate to deceased people. And while I was taking care of my granddaughter, while her mother was working, I knew she indeed was communicating to someone in my home. And my grandbaby had seen who it was, and they were behind me, and my grandbaby had seen them and was getting excited. Plus, she would move her head way back to see who was behind me, and I asked them to please be in front of me, which they must had done. And I was relived.

Finally, my 3rd and last reply to Chilliboot. When my granddaughter became an adult, she and her mother had been working at a place, a dog kennel taking care of dogs. My daughter also booked appointments for surgeries, and my granddaughter would assist helping and learning procedures in hopes to become a veterinarian. At times my daughter would hear things that could not possibly be explained. I am referring to a ghostly manner. I always assumed she had a gift to be in tuned with them.

Chilliboot, I appreciate your kindness! Thank You! Having the stroke was my own fault. I knew physically there was something wrong, but as much as I de-test seeing a doctor, I now regretted my decision. I also found out I was Type 2 Diabetic. But, I have it under control with diet and exercise. And I am pleased I don’t have to poke my fingers constantly to check my numbers. Thank Heavens!!!

Hi

Welcome Domestic Goddess.

I also have an interest in unusual events.

In 1980 I was a regular visitor to RAF Bentwaters, a USAF base and site of the Rendlesham UFO Incident and knew some of those involved.

I hope you enjoy it here.

Hello swimfeeder. Thank you for taking the time to welcoming me to this forum. I do appreciate it! I’m always intrigued to hear one’s story regarding UFO’s. In the past, I use to star gaze at night, and (years ago) late one night while I was looking out my kitchen window, I happen to see a bright light in the sky, move to the right. So, I grabbed a flashlight, went outside, turn it on, and while flashing it up to the sky, this bright light seemed to move in my direction. It paused for about 30 seconds, then it disappeared. My oldest daughter had been watching it from her bedroom window as well. She too was quite intrigued as I was.
