In 2003, l went to live in West Lancashire for a while. The trouble was, l didn’t understand a word anyone said to me and they didn’t understand me!
I learned new words like, a brew, barm cakes, that dinner was referred to as tea and a her, was a hare!
Well i live in East Lancashire, we talk proper in these parts lol.
