Hi Spitfire, I’ve loosened my stays, so will let you know.
Hi effy. Got to agree it’s not the easiest forum to get around. But patience and occasional deep breaths usually gets you through.
Hi Tezza, thank you. Hopefully I’ll get there.
Hello, hoping you are finding your way around the forum, …lots of different topics at hand.
Thank you Pauline, I’m doing lots of looking around and finding out how things work here.
Humming as you go?
And maybe you can also do what you want to do here. It’s a two way street.
I’m always humming, a hum dinger of a hum.
Love your profile epistolet BTW
Thank you
Hello and welcome to the forums, you’ll soon get the hang of it.
Hi Logan 1, thank you. Struggling a bit with tags, starting a new thread seems like an obstacle course.
You did a great job with this thread. I’m not seeing any others you started.
Just do the bare minimum. Somebody else with a greater knowledge base, experience and understanding will change it if needs be.
I haven’t, cos it seemed so complicated.
Here, you have a non-conventional forum layout and operation problem, just as I did when I first arrived, and just as I’m experiencing small amounts of, even now, a while later. Stick to responding, for now…sudden ideas will lead you to starting your own threads, later.
Your welcome and yes it’s a bit jumpy and difficult to start threads at first, but if you stick with it you will work out how to do it. But it’s a great forum and the best so far to be on, i go on other forums and not so good but enough what i want from one.
In other forums, it’s where you are at the time that determines where your new thread goes.
On here, irrespective of where you are at the time, the first thing you have to do after making a thread title is to stipulate which section (or room) you want the thread to go into, from.the drop down list that are available.
A secondary choice is asked for, to help a bit of classification (sort of like choosing which filing cabinet or box to put it into), which might help search for similar at a later date. As I suggested earlier, just do the bare minimum since others on here who have more experience and knowledge will be able to add more specifics, if needs be.
If folks really want to see your “Art”, they won’t need Tags to find it.
Complicated in what way? I think I keep simple because I am a simple guy. Not stupid but simple. I think…
