Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been away for sometime. The tusks are still there and very well maintained by the National Museums of Kenya. They’ve actually become more beautiful and attractive was added at the center of the tusks

Yes have since discovered that it was the name of the road that changed. From Kilindinii to Moe.
