There was a big push for rank and file employees to accept relative wage structures with overseas competitors. unfortunately middle managers upwards weren’t too keen on the same philosophy, it was an obvious car crash waiting to happen either way.
The sweet spot was to milk it until the pension kicked in.

All that has achieved is that poor countries get richer, and rich countries get poorer. As is the case with the UK. Everything we did is now done elsewhere by somebody else.

The disgusting little toad is slowly and surely being exposed and more people are discovering the reality of him and his Party Ltd.

To some extent poor countries are given the potential to gain economic growth from businesses sourcing goods from there. I suspect the wealth is not very evenly distributed however. But overall, a poor getting a bit richer is surely a good thing.
Nope, rich countries do not get poorer. Rich countries GDP continues to grow so the country gets richer, overall. However the distribution of the wealth gets even worse with a few gaining a lot, and a lot not gaining much at all.
That says to me that the problem is not globalisation but wealth concentration without checks.
Well after all the dodgy gifts he has gone to ground as is avoiding interviews … so perhaps forgotten already. The problem Reform Ltd have is that their other spoke’s people are mostly unappealing washed up ex-Tories or painfully hard not to hate chaps like Tice. So they appear to have a communication problem.
