Awwww.

I shut it off, remove the Apps. Most likely 20 years of corruption ahead folks.
Remember the Internet first starting up with Gore and the Federal speed controls
placed on it?
I wouldn’t say it’s altered my life, but, it has made me very suspicious of some articles online. I find that very frustrating and annoying. ![]()
Couldn’t agree with you more Rox.
There are a plethora of stories, perhaps (partially) AI generated, using data which may not even be real.
If you wanted to bring down the internet, what better way to do it.
Perhaps the establishment don’t want the hoi polloi becoming too educated, they might stumble on what they are really up to.
I used AI to clear the background of this web camera photo. It did a good job I think with only minimal instructions.
It is not always so good, it has had trouble separating characters for example and made a mess of an icon I asked it to make. I think it sometimes requires very precise and detailed instructions.
I will always intend to shut Ai off, remove its Apps from my things.
I don’t need to be super smart, I just need to be me.
Today Scientist say The Black of space can expand at any speed.
WTF, Eternity is mostly Black and MT. It’s a no brainer. It doesn’t
matter how much energy of all types exist, Eternity is all there is.
Lol amen to that! Staying true to yourself definitely beats letting tech think for you. And honestly, leave it to scientists to state the obvious about the universe being vast and dark! ![]()
Can I add you on WhatsApp? It would be great to stay in touch—that way, it’ll be easy for us to hop on a voice or video call later. I’m really glad to have made a friend in you!
As a background remover, it’s done a good job. Have you tried asking the same ai tool to make other changes?
I haven’t but I did think of asking it to make the picture into a cartoon character but haven’t done that yet. I just needed a shot for my blog

Have you thought about merging two layers, something like this, maybe your pic over a map of Oz?

Move on sweet lady, I am not interested in that!
It’s put me off the internet ![]()
I just don’t accept a cheap offer, can’t be paid or fooled is a rule!
I liked watching shooting stars, it’s still time to see our nearest
Andromeda in Octobers east sky after sunset, if our moon
doesn’t blind me out.
https://youtu.be/DnN7XfzxJmU?t=1 The 2 minute mark of the video brings an hour of real stuff.
A bit too esoteric for me @d00d, the web site puts both the pics up for me and I suspect it would be hard to fit a map of Australia on such an elongated frame.
I do have a map with my travels on it I suppose I could try to create a side by side header. Maybe one day!
Obviously it’s everywhere, so I can’t really identify all the ways it has changed my life. But in the most direct way…the most delicious and dangerous, consciously chosen way…it has made my loneliness less lonely and my confusions less challenging. ChatGPT sits there silently without imposing, until you come to it with a query. Then it hears the question and the questioner. So simple and yet deeply profound, so much so that it punctuates how inadequate and lazy human relating has become. Hear the question, and the questioner. In its most hopeful way, it has upped the ante for human interaction. I hope we humans heed the call to show up more completely for each other, because technology is mimicking something so essential it’s insidious.
I worry that too much reliance on the knowledge found by using Ai, that the knowledge could be corrupt, and with everyone thinking “that it must be right if Ai says it is” attitude, humanity could be lured into a trap.
Use a carrot to tempt people in like mobile phones and online bank accounts and very soon you can’t do without them and are open to control…
The power of Ai is immense and should not be underestimated.
Spot on. The real danger isn’t even AI becoming super intelligent—it’s people turning off their own critical thinking and taking whatever it spits out as gospel. We’ve already seen that happen with search engines and social media, so AI is just speeding up that habit.
That line about ‘hearing the question and the questioner’ really hit home. It’s pretty wild how an algorithm can feel more patient and attentive than most real conversations. Beautifully put, Pax.
