There’s a house down the road from me already festooned with fake cobwebs along with a besom and a pile of pumpkins heaped outside the front door.

Yes, we saw some when we had a stroll this morning, a couple that were were some what special. But wonder what they will like in the morning with this ferocious wind? I just hope they will survive, especially for the children…

I walk past a house on my morning walk that is stacked to the rafters with scary stuff.
It all seems to be worked by a compressor but hasn’t been erect for the last two mornings.
If it’s all working on Monday I’ll take a photo.

Maybe not Halloween related, but when I was in Berlin earlier this week, there were loads of pumpkin themed drinks out and about. So, maybe that particular squash is a ā€œthingā€?

Decorative at the moment but destined to be made into soup :yum:

Genuine question - does anyone eat pumpkin all year long?

Never thought about it like that before but no, its something that’s very seasonal I suppose as far as the fresh pumpkins and squashes area concerned Dex.

Although I was recently was chatting to a good friend of mine about homemade doggy biscuits of all things. There’s a recipe that includes a canned pumpkin puree. It seems to be readily available in The USA but not so here, and quite expensive too! I’m sure some of our buddies from over the pond would be able to shed some light on the matter!

Well you did ask! :wink::jack_o_lantern::dog:

The cost of small bags of candy is now $5.59 a bag. Good luck kids getting $100 !
