Hey Harvey, I just notice something I posted last night said 3 am, believe me midnight is about it for me. I must have goofed on the time zone I picked, so thanks for reminding me to correct it.
Moli so you are in Texas with all the cowboys (just kidding) but really there are alot and alot of heat. I have never been there but many say you either love it or hate it, no inbetween. Enjoy your visit. Joan
Its not so bad now, heat wise, but I was here in the summer months, and way too hot for me then…
I have a neighbor who lived in Texas for years and just loved it, all but the heat. I was in Florida the 7th to the 13th and it was in the 90’s but we managed to keep cool with what we picked to do. My son and his wife are there and the heat doesn’t seem to bother them much. Heat or not when they said sailing I was the first one in the car. 
I know you have six more days until you get your little one. Are you picking him/her up in Texas??
Have to run now but will try to get on later. They are going to lay carpet for me tomorrow so my computer may be down a day or two.
I am going back to the UK on Wednesday, picking her up there…
I love the heat, Buzzie, July and August are my favorite months; been complaining because this Summer and Autumn haven’t been as warm as normal. I don’t have AC, dislike it.
