My favourite solo from my favourite guitarist, Steve Lukather. I’m lucky to have met him, hung out with him and been on the same stage as him and Toto back in 2019 when my friend (and his guitar tech) brought me to hang out with them. The outro solo is simply genius and I’ll never get bored of hearing it. This is when he was from 1990 … and he plays it differently all the time, but this is my favourite.

I’ve got 3 of his signature guitars, all signed by him - I’m a very lucky man. Toto appeared on over 5000 songs as session musicians, re-wrote and performed just about all of Thriller for Michael Jackson, wrote Human Nature completely and Lukather also did most of the guitar session work in the 80’s as the worlds number 1 session player.

There will never be another Lukather - its all about the choice of notes.

Check it out.

Possible Smithy, think it was Adrian Smith, but that is the line up for quite some time now.
