Goodnight! (Part 1)

Goodnight All, time to pull the plug. Have a good evening all.

Goodnight Moyra, sleep well

I think I’ll get to bed now, been a busy and stressful day.

Goodnight everybody.

Goodnight Jim, I hope you have a restful night…

It’s that time again, to pull the plug and say Goodnight! Actually it should be the other way round, say Goodnight everyone, and now pull the plug. night night all. God bless.

Goodnight all, time for me to pull the plug. Am I the only generally resurrecting this thread? Night night all. God bless. xxx

Goodnight Moyra, and pleasant dreams.

Good night folks.

The mother-in-law is round, wine is poured, cigarettes are lit and we’re all yapping away so that will probably continue until about 1-2 in the morning (by which time we’ll all be paralytic no doubt) then I’ll crawl off to bed to probably have an awful hangover tomorrow.

See you all then.

Goodnight Moyra, sleep well…

Good night Jim, have a good evening…

I’m currently lying in bed with a Whiskey and a cigar with the original Psycho in the VCR ready to start.

The wife is fast asleep so it looks like it’ll just be me and Norman, goodness me that sounds sworded

I’d better remember to turn the volume down at the shower scene, last time I had it up (unbeknownst to me) rather loud and I think the neighbour thought I was being murdered!!

Goodnight folks.

Night night OB, don’t let the bed bugs bite, sweet dreams.

Goodnight Jim, I hope you don’t have nightmares after watching Psycho!

Oh I won’t, but I think our 19 year old cat who is lying on the bed next to me might!! Whenever I put a horror on she tends to crawl under the duvet at the scary bits, poor thing.

Goodnight you lovely people who have helped to reawaken the Goodnight Thread. I hope you all have a pleasant night’s sleep. God Bless.!

Goodnight Moyra and everyone else, I’m off to the land of Nod. Pleasant dreams all.

Just popped in to say Goodnight as I have been watching Nightwatch on BBC 2. I think it is brilliant. Goodnight all, sweet dreams. xxx

Goodnight Moyra, pleasant Dreams.

Well goodnight folks.

It’s been some day and I’m now ready to finish my cig and head off to bed, which I’m especially looking forward to doing as the wife changed the bed this evening and fitted a new duck feather and down 13.5TOG quilt to replace the old one of the same type which we bought in 2000. As you can imagine, it had lost the fluffiness which D&D is known for so out it went to the garage to be used to protect something or whatnot.

Not that I’ll let on to the wife (I have a reputation to hold) but she’s also fitted my favourite duvet, a nice floral one with lots of little flowers (I’m too tired to be more descriptive) which is easy on the eye and damn soft on the skin.

Aah, bed seems like a great place tonight.

Just me, a Robert Ludlum book, a packet of Murray Mints and my wife reading her thriller whilst chain smoking Pall Mall superkings. Can life get any better? I think not.

So without further ado, I shall have a brief encounter with a tube of Crest then crawl under the covers and settle down for a few hours reading.

See you tomorrow, well, if I don’t die in my sleep

I jest, but you never know!!

If I do die, I’ll be sure to let you all know

Goodnight Jim, snuggle down and enjoy your new quilt…

I would do Mags if I hadn’t just realised the cat is still not back from going outside earlier this evening. She always sits outside the patio doors about 11PM to get in and sleep under the covers beside me…

I think I’ll check the back garden.

She’s getting old now and I worry if she doesn’t come back.
