I haven’t been for a pint yet although they’ve been opened since Monday, it’s been raining now for days on end, nasty weather, might try the local next week when things settle down a bit.

My son will be coming over at 8.30 to take the missus and me out for a pint in town, it’ll be our first venture into a pub since what seems like years, it’s a posh pub so I’ll have to don me best glad rags.;-)
So it’s an earlier goodnight from me folks.

Thanks Besoeker, but it was all bit clinical and we could not relax, the smell of disinfectant was a bit much at times and we didn’t stay long.
I don’t think I’ll be pubbing again until I can have a pint under more leisurely conditions.

“An Garda Síochána will begin conducting checks of licensed premises nationwide this evening to check if they are adhering to the public health guidelines for Covid-19.
The development comes amid concerns about some pubs flouting Covid-19 restrictions.
At present, pubs are only allowed serve alcohol to customers who purchase a “substantial” meal costing at least €9.
Pubs who do not operate this restaurant-style service must remain closed until Phase 4 of the roadmap begins on 20 July. Customers should only be on the premises for 105 minutes”
