Goodnight! (Part 1)

Goodnight All.

Storm Jorge wasn’t as bad as it was supposed to be, the met office had red white and blue warnings out, you’d swear the end of the world was coming the way they went on about it, ;-), but where we are it just blew and rained for a couple of hours and then vanished, thank God, lord help those who got it bad.
Why do they call power failures “Power outrages” now? I though only humans caused outrages.

Goodnight everyone.

Goodnight All.

I found out why power failures are called power outrages, I asked an old lady in the pub today and this is what she said.
“We had a power outrage this morning, lasted for three and a half hours, and the price of electricity these days, outrageous ain’t it”

Goodnight everyone, sweet dreams.

Goodnight all.

Goodnight All.

Goodnight everyone, sleep well.

Goodnight All.

Goodnight everyone, happy dreams.

Not a bad day here today, no rain anyway.
Goodnight everyone.

Goodnight everyone.

Goodnight All.

Goodnight everyone, sweet dreams.

It hasn’t stopped raining all day here.
Goodnight everyone.

Goodnight All.

Back home. Sometimes I think the best reason to travel is to be grateful for your own bed.

Goodnight!

Goodnight All.

A warm welcome back Surfer.

When my sister was in her twenties she travelled across the USA, she was three months there and loved it, she also loved the food and had put on quite a few extra pounds, mostly around the butt area.
When she got home I casually said to her “Glad you had a good time sis, they say that travel broadens the mind”
She put her hands on her hips, looked down, and said “Not only the mind brother dear”
I was glad she said it and not me.;-)

Goodnight everyone.

Thank you kindly, Jem.

I suppose I am doing the same thing in reverse:

Each time I cross the pond to visit OFF, I broaden my mind.

We shan’t discuss the decades I’ve spent broadening my “horizons” on my native cuisine

Goodnight!

Goodnight everyone.
