I was watching an old film today set in New York and in the hotel lobby a chap goes into the telephone cubicle to make a call, nothing strange about that says you, the phone was lower down inside the box and when he got in he sat down! There was a seat inside it, made me wonder why they never had seats in all the old telephone boxes in these Isles.
On second thoughts maybe it was a wise move, we’d never get the women out of them if they had put seats in. ;-)

That high wind is back again tonight, roll on a bit of decent weather so I can get out and paint me little cabin, I got a big tin of “Woodland Green” for the job, it should blend in with the high hedge in the garden, and with a bit of luck the wife will never be able to find me for any chores she needs done.
