Jem, I spent two days ago at my mother’s giving her weed eater a going like it’s never been through before. Once I started it was addictive. Every weed, every sad blade of grass growing in the wrong place was no match for the buzzing, whirling line. While there was mild irritation involving a fair bit of mumbling and grumbling when the line disappeared and my hands were too small to get the plate removed so as to re-feed it, it was glorious day making the acre yard as gorgeous and groomed as…well…an English garden (wish I could say the same for my appearance)! I passed on the beer though, in favor of collapsing into a cool and comfortable bed…
