Spent the day mooring boats upriver, helping friends do the same, stowing outdoor furniture, checking on neighbors, gassing up, etc. We have friends who will likely lose their homes or have tremendous damage. This will be catastrophic for one of my favorite wildlife refuges and little Florida towns….we are all tired, but safe, sound, and ready.
