It’s been a hectic week visiting family - symphony, astronomy work, gardening, home repairs, baking, long nightly conversations around an outdoor fire - but tonight I enjoyed reading a stream of interesting threads and catching up with with the forum.
Sometimes it’s better just to sit back and “listen”.

I’m taking the wife and two of her sisters out tonight, she hasn’t been out for a drink with me in two weeks, she says she feels like a Hermit, how would she know what a Hermit feels like? I told her to try a few weeks working in the shed and she might get some idea.

It was a find day to remember, and a nice one to look forward.
This is my last night in my parents’ home before driving back to Florida tomorrow. I love being behind the wheel, the open roads, and the sense of adventure. I suppose I am easy to please.
I hope Jem had a fine time being the lone male with three lively women, that swimfeeders survived his soirée, and that Carol’s grandson is excited about his first ever birthday party - I know I am.
