A frosty five mile run this morning was two minutes faster than the previous run, but it’s took me legs out…There’s a lot of work to do…But for now…It’ Goodnight…

The pub is only 250 yards up the road from me and it’s a quiet enough area at night, last orders are at twelve midnight and it’s half twelve when we get out, I prefer to go there at lunchtime for a few games of dominoes with the other old crackpots but the wife fancied a drink with the merry widow, didn’t want to let them go alone, gentleman and idiot that I am.

Cheers Jem, no worries mate…It sounds like paradise to me [having a pub so close] I can’t remember the last time I visited a pub and didn’t have to drive to get to it. Always the bridesmaid aye.
Weathers been a bit miserable round here as well Jem, I need some sun on me bones…Winters seem to be harder to survive the older I get.
Mrs Fox has dragged me round the local town centre today and left me for dead, so I’m going to check out of the forum now…Goodnight all.

Went to see ‘Hacksaw Ridge’ at the cinema…The best film I’ve seen for ages. Based on a true story about a Conscientious Objector who won a medal of honour. It had Mrs Fox bawling at the end…It is a bit gory though.
Anyway, after washing all the blood off [we were sat a bit close to the screen] We slowly progressed home through the rush hour traffic and after cooking Mrs Fox a delicious meal I’ve found myself here…But all the excitement has left me drowsy so I must say goodnight and see you tomorrow…

Spent most of the day cutting out a wall for a new plug socket outlet in the kitchen.
It took me longer to clear the mess up than it did to chisel out the wall.
So I’m sitting here tapping away at my keyboard with bruised knuckles. Hammer got out of control occasionally.
It’s hard doing some proper work for a change so I need to get some sleep…Night Night…
I’m off to watch a bit of TV.
