Good Morning Wednesday, 6th August 2025

No, unfortunately the camera doesn’t turn on with the power supply, just a red light on underneath “CHG” on the camera. I’ve taken out battery, put it back in again, many times and also cleaned all the contact parts. The same with the SD card.

Infact I have my doubts, that it could be the actual camera, gone! :slightly_frowning_face:

I tried looking for the manual online, I didn’t manage to download, I’ll try again.

Thank you for your suggestions. :slightly_smiling_face:

That post was for @Bruce, and thank you to you too @OldGreyFox, yes it was stored flat, for a long time! :slightly_frowning_face:

Sometimes when the battery is flat for long periods the camera will forget what to do when it’s switched on…A bit like booting up a computer.
There may be another little battery inside that does that job, and will also be flat. If you can dismantle it carefully and gain access to the printed circuit board, all will be revealed.
If you are going to throw it away anyway, it might be worth a try to take the back off Rose.

Yes, I’ll have a go at dismantling Foxy. In this situation, it’s worth a try, what else have I got to lose?? :woman_shrugging:
