Good Morning Wednesday, 4th February 2026

Good morning everyone and pleasant summer day today temperatures in the mid to high 20s.

When I went for my walk this morning I noticed the moon shining sulkily over the escarpment.

I have some important phone calls to make today, I have to book a test at the pathology place and the Xray place in my street The latter for a chest Xray and the former for an Asthma test, my doctor has suddenly decided that my breathing needs to be checked (after my row with him over a covid test). I might not need to book these tests but I will ring to find out.

It is quite funny wandering into my garage with the car missing, not exactly a shock but more of a momentary surprise.

Anyway, it is mid week, the weather lovely, what could be nicer?

Take care…

Hi

Good Morning Bruce and all who follow.

Yes it is funny not having a car around, I still miss mine and that loss is permanent for me.

Still you adapt and looking on the brightside, I can have a drink and not worry about driving.

Today will be very frustrating, Parcel Force say they delivered a parcel here, I say they didn’t.

I am talking to a bot, not a real human.

It is not a small parcel, it weighs 24kg, nothing on my front cameras at all and I had a helper here when it was supposed to have been delivered.

Most of the day will be taken up by the latest Political Scandal, watching what happens on the Internet and live TV.

A very archaic law is going to be used, a humble address, to force the Government to release information.

All good fun.

Enjoy your day

Good morning everyone

A calm but thoughtful start for mid-week. Hope the calls and any tests go smoothly, @Bruce

Here in Bangkok it’s around 25°C too, but the sun is bright and energetic :sunny:

@swimfeeders Not having a car can still feel strange, even when you adapt but at least there’s the freedom of not worrying about driving.
The missing 24kg parcel sounds seriously frustrating (especially when you’re stuck talking to a bot), so fingers crossed it gets sorted quickly.

Nice weather, a bit of sunshine, and plenty happening in the world.
Wishing everyone a good day, take care :sun_behind_small_cloud:

Good morning all!

Maybe I’m still dreaming but according to the forecast Sussex is to be blessed with some sunshine today! :open_mouth:
Not a lot, not a tropical heatwave but hey…I’m not complaining :tada:
Back to normal tomorrow and for several days after! :disappointed::umbrella:

I should be having a roll of this arriving today… …

Budget film but with plenty of character… especially when I push it a couple of stops :+1:

Right…back to my coffee, deffo not tea

Have a tiptop day people! :+1:

Good morning all…

It seems the weather has broken a bit, nice and sunny down here by the seaside. Today, is house chores day, so nothing exciting much going on here. Although I may have to go out and buy some replacement windscreen wipes as one split on the wife’s car yesterday. Just about to go for my daily walk and catch up with the swans and my bag of swan food on the way, if they are around. Naturally, nothing starts without my coffee first.

Have a great day all…

:coffee: :+1:

Good morning!
Cloudy, grey, dull, but dry

Well my flu bug is improving, though I’m still a bit sniffly and I feel very weak & tired
I hope it does clear up as I’m getting bored & fed up of staying in, trying but failing to read so just watching daytime TV & YouTube videos

I’ll content myself with writing letters and some not too strenuous typing of emails
Also, I need to stay in as an engineer is coming this afternoon to service the central heating

Good Morning everyone :039:
The weather outside is miserable with wall to wall cloud and just 4 Degrees C, but feeling milder now the biting East wind has ceased. Unlike the weather I’m not feeling miserable at all and I’ll take what mother nature dishes out, just thankful to be able to see it…Every day is a sunny one in my book…
:sun_with_face:
It’s a rest day today with just an early visit to Tesco…
:heavy_check_mark:…Done!
Mrs Fox is due at the dentist in an hour and it’s all the way through town, but I expect the early morning traffic will have died down a bit by now, so I’m all ready to go.
I’ll take her for some lunch to a garden centre of her choice…Try out her new teeth…
