Good morning all, another chilly morning here in Australia’s capital. It is such an unusual sight for me that I took a photo, at least it doesn’t snow here.
I went out mid morning to get keys cut because they have changed the lock on their front door, I carry a key for their house in my car. While I was at Bunnings getting the key cut I bought a couple of 99c buckets, you can never have enough buckets.
Not much else to do today, will throw the ball for their dog later and when my daughter gets home from work I suspect we will go to the dog park. Pizza tonight for dinner I think. I have half of my Seafood Kuey Teow left from yesterday for lunch today.
Nothing planned for today either Eliza.
There might be some prints coming from the processor, all in the hands of Royal Mail now! Looking forward to the sunshine forecast from Friday afternoon well into next week

Getting fed up with our postal service regarding tracking it is non existant , doesn’t even recognise a reference number. Must be a reason for all the courier companies

Morning all – heavy rain overnight, sunny at the moment but more rain, wind and thunder storms predicted for today, with temperatures forecast to reach 16c – someone remind me, it IS summer isn’t it?
Gardener started late yesterday because of the rain – as always I offered him a cup of tea when he arrived – he accepted gratefully as apparently he had been to 3 houses before mine and not been offered so much as a glass of water! After his hard work the garden is now looking much tidier
As I enjoyed the Keanu Reeves film Constantine I decided to buy the TV series on DVD! Nobody told me it is much darker than the film! I am enjoying it but don’t think I will be watching it just before going to bed!
OK so how long after moving into a house is it reasonable to expect the new occupant to forward mail? I have been here almost 5 years and am still getting mail for the previous owners. I do re-address and send it on but as the nearest post box is some distance away I am beginning to get a bit fed up!
Today’s plan is a little housework and then some grocery shopping – yes I know, I lead a very exciting life!
