Well it is a good, good morning from me. Another perfect autumn day in the mid 20s.
Walk as usual this morning, it was fairly cool at dawn but not outrageously so, probably about 10/12° when I set out.
Flew my drone for a while once I was home again, just to admire, from the air, the whipper snippering and mowing that I did yesterday. The reflecting tape I put on it might be doing its job, a Kite (the bird not child’s toy) showed some interest in it and came close but then veered away.
Have been updating the TV Shows and Movies that I keep on HDDs in my camper, it has been much neglected, hasn’t been used since late last year. My daughter wants to go for a run in her campervan when she has finished building it so that might be my next chance later in the year. Our trip to the Oodnadatta Track is looking dodgy at the moment unless fuel prices go back to near normal soon.
We are still getting ready for our cruise on Friday, suitcases getting filled, house chores getting done, more shopping for bits and pieces, stuff to be printed…list goes on - and we’re only going for a week and it seems like we’re moving house. In between that, wife wants to go to the gym and meet up with her sister for her weekly catchup on family gossip.
Morning all – overcast and windy today with rain forecast! I knew as soon as I put out all the garden furniture the weather would change!
One of my neighbours called in yesterday with cake! She usually brings it in on a Wednesday but they are off on holiday on Thursday so didn’t think she would have time to make (and eat it) before they left
Gardener arrived yesterday – the garden is looking very tidy and he has put some colourful plants into the planters – makes me feel like summer is on its way
