Good Morning Tuesday, 21st January 2025

Good morning on this rather warm Tuesday.

I took advantage of a warm day (30°) and washed my own bedding as well as my towel and yesterday’s clothing, then it was up and at 'em with a good dose of cheap Chinese Roundup on some weeds that the recent rains had invigorated.

Currently I am attempting to improve the sensor light on my garage, the old one needed replacing anyway because the diffusion screen had broken. I also want to move it to the front of the garage because its current location is very unsatisfactory. It is set off my the carport washing lines and nearby trees on a windy day.

While i was at it i decided to tackle the garage wiring which had grown like Topsy since I bought the garage forty years ago.

Hopefully now it is more rational if not tidier but it will look OK once it is hidden again.

I had to have a rest but will get back to it this arvo.

Have a terrific Tuesday.

Take care…

Oh my goodness. Please be careful touching electrics.

Good morning - Still grey skies but not quite so dull as of late . A bit nippy at 3ºC but well, that’s what clothes are for.

Not a bad bit of wiring Bruce. I go to great trouble to hide wiring in the house but the garage is an exception. Visible wires all round.

Have a good day.

Oh my Lord Bruce!.. :009:
Just waiting for Mrs Fox to return from the hairdressers and then off to Sheffield (Meadowhall) to watch the new Bob Dylan film…A very fast walk this morning, and no running…Seems like everything is working as it should. Just a few spots of light rain but milder at 5 degrees C, out came the shorts…

I do better wiring than that, Bruce !

Good morning from frigid Florida!

It’s electricity day here too, Bruce. The upper HVAC unit conked out in the night, and right now the men of the family are sorting things out in the attic. I am glad that for once it’s not me having to figure out which one is the grounding wire… :017:

Snow is due at noon and it’s like anticipating Santa across the entire area. All the floats that people use to bob around in the newly named Gulf of America have their noses pressed against the window in anticipation of some historic accumulation.

The house is now staring at me with its hands on its hips asking me what repairs, scrubbing, and sprucing up I plan to accomplish today. The pressure is intense; it’s already punished my sloth with the broken heat, so I had better get on with in hope of curbing this domestic rebellion.

Have a warm day!

I prefer a visible break

None of this modern day tomfoolery.

Same here Bruce, people get so fed up round here when a bulb fails and trips the consumer unit, especially when it’s in a hard to access place.

And some of the real stuff…
