Good evening all
No rain here for weeks not a spit or drop nothing .
However Southsea beach is in full bloom ā¦ā¦could the Chelsea Flower Show better this ?
This evening Southsea looking across to Hayling

I do recall when I was last in the UK that driving on motorways was a strange business. The traffic would come to a complete halt for no apparent reason, I expected an accident or road works up ahead but there was nothing.
Another annoying feature is that apparently you are not allowed to overtake on the left on multilane highways - both my brother and my mother told me off for doing that (before I started to remember) - it seemed stupid to me to have to go over three lanes just to overtake someone in the middle lane but I guess themās the rules.
My biggest mistake was misreading the speedo because it is cluttered with MPH and KPH and I read the wrong one then I kept turning on the windscreen wipers instead of indicating because the instrument stalks are designed for left hand drive cars - I just could not get used to that, I presume it is some EU standard.
As you can guess it took me a while to re-adjust to UK driving.
At the end of the Millennium drought there were kids about to start high school who had never seen rain.
When traffic is moving in lanes, it is OK to pass on the left hand side, that is not undertaking, according to the Highway Code.
thatās amazing and awful at the same time .
That is correct otherwise there would be traffic chaos in cities, then why doesnāt that rule also apply on British motorways?
I think the rule applies to all road types.
