Good morning to you all, the sun is shining though there are a few clouds and all is well with the world. A bit cool, 22° max today but things are drying out I hope.
My route to Darwin is looking very dodgy, there are hardly any Queensland outback roads open at the moment.
On the bright side still a month to go and I can always delay my departure.
Am stuck at home waiting for a package due to be delivered today, that is my complaint about Startrack (Australia Post) they don’t seem to have GPS on their trucks like other couriers so you can’t see where their truck is in relation to you, you just have to wait.
My doctor rang yesterday about my eye infection told me to continue drops until the weekend if it is still there he will check in with me on Monday, I have never had an eye infection before, I hope it goes completely soon the desire to rub my eyes is hard to resist. Mind you if that is the worst of my troubles I am a pretty happy bunny
Have a terrific Tuesday, do you have any plans or April Fool pranks for today?
Just popping in for a moment. I’m still not too sure where to click to see if what and where my response is going. But hope your day is good. We had sun, then hail and then sun again, just getting ready to turn the blinds down as I have a busy day tomorrow. Oregon is in quite a flux with its weather. But the flowers are blooming and that makes for a nice spring day.
The weather is nice today. Although there are still occasional aftershocks from the earthquake, the situation is gradually improving. I’m staying home today and not going anywhere. Many places in Bangkok, especially government offices, have allowed employees to work from home to inspect buildings before returning to work, including my workplace.
So, I’m sitting at home working on my e-book, planning to sell it on Amazon. But I honestly have no idea when I’ll finish it, sending my lotus to show everyone too.
Good morning everyone, this is is the eighth day running that I get up, look out of the window and guess what? Yes, raining again, , and I’m not being pessimistic, but I know it will be like this all day, just like it has been since last Tuesday. There is no end to this, forecasts are not good! It was supposed to be sunny this week, according to our meteorologists, incompetents!
Sorry London, I’ll never complain about London weather again.
It’s really cold too, woolies and heavy jackets out again.
@Pimmy, it’s great to hear from you, I just hope the after shocks are over now, such a tragedy, I just have no words to say how sorry I am for the population. Our country has gone through horrific, tragic earthquakes in the past, as you know, but this one was particularly strong.
Good morning on this April 1st - Another springlike day to come and time to get some gardening done. I’m expecting the delivery of some fence panels today but I’ll wait until some help is around before I fit them. The primroses are looking good this year.
Morning all – another chilly start to the day but sun is shining
Spent some time in the garden yesterday (reading not working!) first time this year
Looking out my summer clothes I realised I need to replace my sandals, I looked online and was amazed at the cost of £90, so the plan today is to get the bus into town and have a look around for something a bit cheaper. First I will do some more laundry – judging by the amount of laundry I produce I am sure there is someone else living in this house that I know nothing about!
Good Morning from Foxy’s world…
Knee was hurting all night from kneeling in the garden yesterday. Gardening is not good for backs or knees…
I guessed it would go off with a walk down the canal towpath and I was right. However, it was 5 degrees C with the sun coming up and quite pleasant when I set off, but a very cold damp mist descended (I thought I’d died!) and the temperature felt like it had dropped five degrees, shorts had not been a good choice for today’s walk…
I was going to call my hairdresser for a haircut but realised I’ve not put her number in my new phone yet, so that’s my next job, and see if I can do anything in the garden later, standing up…
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful picture! It’s my first time seeing primrose flowers. I often take primrose oil, but I’ve never seen the real flowers before.
@Rose2 Thank you for your kind words. The aftershocks have finally ended. Right now, the focus is on searching for the bodies of the victims. It’s a very sad time, your support means a lot. I’m very happy to found you and other friends on this forum.
