Good morning Thursday 9th July 2026

Good morning all…

Just looked at the weather forecast to see that this heat wave is going to last until this time next week. at least in my part of the world.

Nothing too much going on today. I have someone doing some clearance work for me, may go out afterwards. I’m going to leave my tree that needs cropping to some other time, as it’s just too hot to do anything.

I’m having ongoing grief with a company who tried to print a wedding photo album for me, who now tell me that they are refusing me a refund. The whole matter is in the hands of my bank who will chase them for one. I can’t believe how they tried to blame me for the poor quality of pictures they printed, citing monitor and camera calibrations at my end. I guessed this would go nowhere and I paid someone else to do my printing and yesterday I picked up my second book and it’s perfect. My wife is on the hunt for a nice box to put it in before we give to the happy couple.

Anyways, stay safe and have a great day…

:thermometer: :sunny: :+1:

Duh … I’ll wake up in a minute. I’ve just gone and posted on the wrong daily thread.
I’ll blasme the weather …yes, that’s what I’ll do, it’s nothing to do with having a senior moment.

Now on new computer, but a load of issues signing in to different accounts. Microsoft make it near impossible. still a lot more to do but getting there slowly. one big problem is if I tried to sign in too many times I get locked out, and google/microsoft/ chrome etc don’t help one bit. .
but what a different in computer speed compared with my old one so fat unbelievable

I know all the aggro involved with Microsoft accounts, I still have issues with them as I run a Virtual Machine, which for some reason they don’t like. I’m hoping to migrate to Linux sometime to do away with all the problems MS creates. I’m only sticking with Windows because my photography software.
