Good morning all. Another 10cms of snow overnight. I thought I would get the car out to go to the shops but have decided against it.
Have a good day all.
I didn’t get into town yesterday so I’m going there soon, to get a bank mini statement
This afternoon I’ll try to change my car insurer; and since dealing with large companies now is almost impossible I expect that will be a job in itself
No snow or ice, but internet keeps falling out and speed very slow, landline and falls alarm not working.
Already an expensive day, plumber has been again, this time £230, but he is very good and cheaper than the others and bathroom basin is now working again.
We are forecast some serious snow later, but might just miss,
A bit wet and drizzly here on the south coast of Hampshire, just come from my daily walk where everything has thawed out from the last few days. Mrs G is off to the gym again today, leaving me on my own. I’ve just been asked if I can do a family photoshoot tomorrow, as most of the wife’s family is gathering for the first time in ages for afternoon teas and general get-together at a hotel. So I’ll be getting my stuff ready for that.
Apart from that, not too much exciting going on here. Have a great day all…
Grey here and rain forecast, waiting in for my online shop but an email says its not going to be here on time , good job Im not desperate for anything .
I shall go a walk after my deliveries have been .Need to keep to my 2 mile a day walk .Its to easy to sit at home in the warm . So I must push myself.
Good Day from a cold South Yorkshire…
A couple of ladies out walking their dogs enquired why I was wearing tracky bottoms instead of my usual shorts…I told them that 0 degrees C was borderline and as soon as the temperature went above freezing, it would be business as usual…Nice girls…
The canal was still frozen solid and the path covered in frost, so I put in a few short sharp bursts to keep warm but I was struggling on the last half mile home, so I just walked the last bit.
I think the cold air in the lungs can’t absorb the oxygen the muscles need.
Got most of the Christmas lights gathered in yesterday, with just some on the Holly Bush and high up on the gable end. Need the big ladder for those, a bit precarious in the cold weather.
Heating’s on most of the day now when we’re home, I keep it low on 21 C through the day but turn it up to 22 C in the evenings. It turns down to 17 C at 10:30 pm for the rest of the night, and never usually comes on, even when it’s very cold.
It’s still going to be a whopper of a bill this year…
