Good Morning Thursday, 18th June 2026

Good morning everyone. It is still unseasonably warm, again in the low/mid 20s.

This morning I received a text from Service NSW telling me that my car is registered for another year, they are getting very slack, I don’t know what took them so long, it used to arrive within a couple of hours of the rego check being done.

Yeah, I know, boring pic but it is all I’ve got

Finally went for my morning walk, have not been since Sundays walk so it was nice to get out and about again.

Called into the mall on the way home to get some odds and ends from the supermarket, including my favourite carrot cake. I picked up a package from my PO box of compression socks, I hope I can get them on.

The socks are in the washing machine at the moment. This arvo I have to put the bin out for collection in the morning, I put all the ginger plants in the red bin otherwise it is nearly empty and it saves me dragging the green bin out.

I might also start moving all my potted plants to a place where they tend to catch any rain while I am away.

Hope @swimfeeders move goes OK.

In a fortnight I will be in the UK seems almost unreal at the moment.

Have a good one.

Take care…

Good morning all! :cloud:

Overcast at the mo, that sunshine is due to break through later this afternoon :sun_with_face::+1:
Great idea stocking up on lollies Eliza, I think they’re going to be in high demand during the next few days and into next week!

The council are hosting a month of live street music on Thursday evenings, tonight’s top act is The Cureheads

I think this event is going to be well attended, The Cure originated in Crawley, should be quite a buzz and I’ll certainly be taking some piccies!

Have a terrific Thursday people! :+1::sun_with_face::sunglasses:

I agree, I am always surprised to hear complaints about buskers.

Yep, we have some terrific buskers, brings a bit of sunshine and vitality to the increasingly delapidated and declining high street!

Morning all – overcast but at least no rain is forecast!

Local radio presenters are hoarse and sounding tired this morning – and football is the main topic of conversation!

Had an email from BT saying they will be upgrading me to full fibre. Last year a BT engineer arrived wanting to check the line into my house – after searching he said he couldn’t find where the cable entered the house and that he would have to return with a digger to dig up the drive to find it! Told him no way that was happening so it will be interesting to see how they proceed this time!

Usual Thursday meet up with the girls for coffee, cake and gossip (I will forego the cake!)

Take care have a lovely day
