I have just returned from my seniors’ meeting so have minutes to write then I will have to get back to packing the car for my upcoming trip. Still got things like tyres to be pumped etc
Am still not entirely sure where I am going though I have two places in mind, the weather on the coast is not looking good but I am hoping that being 800km away from the ocean might improve things.
It seems the weather has broken a little. It rained overnight, but its warm and sunny here in the south coast of Hampshire. The grass on my lawn is still damp, so the mower is still put away until it dries.
Not a lot happening today, Mrs G off to the gym later, may go for a coffee later. My DVD drive on my PC is playing up and I suspect I have dust on the lens, so I may strip it out for a clean. Beyond that, nothing much exciting going on.
Good morning - In an effort to get active again, I stripped the bed as soon as I got up and put the bedding in the washing machine. About time to be honest. I was about to hang it outside but our daughter had woken by then and said I was doing too much. We hung it on the line together. It might get dry because the weather isn’t bad.
Anyway, it gave me a chance to use the new super-duper washing line. I’d dug the base and concreted it in just before the health turned nasty. The post looks about upright, so all in the world is well.
Popped into the mall afterwards to drink my post work out whey protein shake and a chicken and stuffing sandwich from Boots. We have a lovely new shop open recently, a breath of fresh air as far as the retail experience goes. I have to show considerable self restraint when I ‘inadvertently’ stroll inside!
