Good Morning Thursday, 11th June 2026

Good morning everyone, another warm winters day with 21° again, even the overnight temperature didn’t go below 14° but a cold change is supposed to be arriving on the weekend. It is supposed to be a warm dry winter because of the La Nina set up across the Pacific.

It was my seniors’ meeting this morning so I have been writing up the minutes hence I am slightly later than usual posting here.

As predicted yesterday afternoon was less than exciting, I was tempted to get my clothes washed this morning but decided there really wasn’t enough to bother with because I still have over a weeks worth of clean clothes in my drawer.

I suppose now I will have to start preparing for my UK trip there is only about three weeks to go before I leave Oz.

My bin is already out for collection in the morning with one tiny bag of rubbish.

Have a good one.

Take care…

Morning Bruce and all

Im planning my 2 Bus trips for tomorrow, I have a Hospital appointment for a Scan with dye, this is to see how my Heart is working after last years Op.
Having to time the buses right is an operation in its self .

We had another Thunder storm yesterday, some years we have none in our area but we have been getting our fair share these last couple of weeks. It arrives with hail stones ,and rumbles round for a while .

Have a Good day all.

Morning all!

Hope you’ve resolved the issue as whether or not to bring any trousers with you to Blighty Bruce since the clock is ticking😉

Another routine day in West Sussex. I’ve decided to try some of these as an addition to smoothies, porridge etc

Two quid a pack from the convenience shop over the road. You don’t need heaps of them but they really are a healthy addition to a good diet! Quite appropriate since from tomorrow I’m intending to bite the bullet and hit the gym at at around 06:30 when it’s lovely and quiet. I’m always an early riser so I might as well use the situation in a positive way to my advantage!:+1:

Have a terrific Thursday people!:v::sunflower:

Morning all – heavy rain last night and still raining this morning – anyone know how to build a boat?

Bruce - can you bring the sunshine with you please!

Well, my friend certainly had an adventure with her broken down car yesterday. She found that some people can be kind and helpful and others just …… well the opposite! The man who had originally stopped returned from his errand and stayed with her until the tow truck arrived, someone living close by asked if she would prefer to wait indoors. In the meantime, other drivers were shouting and swearing at her – as if she had deliberately chosen to break down by traffic lights on a busy road! After a great deal of hassle and argument with the AA she finally got the car towed to a garage. The car will be out of action for a few weeks and as her insurance doesn’t include a loan car we won’t be able to get together for a while! (Public transport is expensive and unreliable!)

Time for my 6 monthly dental check and as my usual dentist is in the next county I decided to try somewhere more local – they want £30 to make an appointment!! No I didn’t book so am still looking for a local dentist

The usual Thursday meet up with the girls today followed by the usual grocery shop.

Take care – hope everyone has a great day

I was going to wear shorts on the plane but have decided to wear jeans because it is less to carry.

Let’s face it if I need other clothes I can buy them there, either new or from an Op shop.

I’ve never even heard of Chia seeds, I had to look them up

I expect it will be sunshine everyday while I am there
