Good morning everyone, I am in the nation’s capital. Yesterday was wet and miserable even though it was 32° where I live, here it was definitely not. Today however the sun is out today and the weather beautiful. Ah, the joys of spring.
Yesterday I was looking on line and discovered a Kings AGM 115Ah batteryon special for $159 (£80) so we went to the store and bought one to replace the dodgy Aux battery in my car. What difference it has made - 13.1v with the fridge running, very happy.
Meanwhile son in law is putting the finishing mechanical touches to my daughter’s home built campervan, later we will get fuel ready to leave tomorrow. They are working on getting the Starlink working at the moment.
great to see you Bruce but what a start for you ! I hope things improve and you are both soon enjoying your adventure
I’m waiting to hear from my daughter, testing positive for COVID last week I’ve not seen her for 10 days, we FaceTime every day but it’s not the same without a hug
We’re off to a county fayre today, as the weather seems both sunny and mild. First and only one we’ve had a chance to go to this year. Besides, it will give my car a good run out as I tend to drive only locally these days. May even have the chance to take a decent pic or two.
It’s a beautiful day here - a little chilly, but to be expected for early September.
Thanks to the rain we’ve had lately, the garden is perking up nicely, so at some point during the coming week will have to get the lawnmower out - fingers crossed it still works.
Spent far too much money at the market yesterday, so will try to avoid the stalls today when by the river later - maybe better to feed the ducks and swans instead, we’ll see.
