Good morning all, what a lovely day for the last day of autumn, winter tomorrow but at least the sun is shining.
I had a lovely walk this morning in that sunshine. There is definitely a winter chill in the air, it might be getting to the time I need the feather doona on the bed and move my walk to later in the day.
On my way I came across a burned out Combi van which was a bit sad, I don’t think it was stolen because stolen cars tend to get the drivers compartment torched (if the thieves bother) but this one looked like the fire had started in the engine bay, my old man lost his Combi that way.
Once I was home I threw all my bed clothes in the machine and as the day had warmed up a bit I got the mower out and did my grass but it won’t be too long before the grass ceases to grow.
Im going to a 60s Concert today , all the groups from then , singing all the hits they had , its going to be a fantastic to see my heart throbs from my era …Last time I saw them my hubby was alive and he went with me .
Morning all – a bit dull and overcast this morning and a lot cooler!
After realising it was half term and the plumber was probably on holiday with his family, I texted him and asked him to ring me when he got back. Had an immediate reply – apparently he hadn’t got my voicemail! He called in yesterday afternoon and all is now fixed! Didn’t take him long and he then dashed off as he was meeting a friend, apparently there was some important football game on T.V which he wanted to watch (I’m not a sports fan)!
Had a lovely long phone call from my brother this morning – I did have to nag him a little about his diet! Somehow I don’t think he will take much notice!
We were on the phone for almost an hour (again) – as always there was a lot of laughter and insults! I really do miss them all – I would love to visit again but I found the journey really tiring last time
Not much planned for today – there is some ironing which is calling to me but I may try to ignore it for today!
