Good Morning - Sunday, 2nd February 2025

Good morning everyone. I woke to a lovely sunny morning so I set my washing machine off with couple of week’s clothing.

Since hanging the clothes on the line the weather has gone slightly downhill with the warm easterly winds bringing clouds off the Pacific however I don’t think it is going to rain despite looking like it might.

When I got up I decided to water some plants I had put at the front of my block because it hasn’t actually rained for nearly a week so the ground was getting pretty dry.

Didn’t go for my walk this morning because of a slight back twinge. In restrospect I should have but I actually turned the TV on early to watch episode 11 of the last series of Outlander, it is not on Netflix yet so I had to download it from the interweb thing.

TV is off now as I have decided it it time to clean the bathroom and the toilet. They can get a bit dusty as they both have permanently open windows. I might mend a couple of fly screens too on the spare bedrooms one has a hole and the other blew off damaging the fittings. Am very slack about these as the rooms are not used much and they have another window with intact screens that can be left open. Sorry… boring!

Enjoy your Sunday and the remains of the weekend.

Take care…

now that is very interesting. There can only be a couple of reasons. Either it is an outside toilet or an escape route due to the bad smell. Finally to let the wallabys in to do what the have to. A window would be too small for a Kangaroo to get through. :kangaroo:

Good Morning from Sunny South Yorkshire… :sun_with_face:
I recovered from yesterday’s adventure and felt good this morning so I decided to jog and walk around my five mile route. It felt a bit nippy, and although it read 5 degrees C when I set off, it had dropped to 4 degrees C upon my return. It’s usually the other way round, however, with just some broken cloud and good going underfoot I turned in the fastest time this year.
I’m not getting on with the Skechers… :009: I can’t take the risk that they will rub my achilles raw, so I had to go in my old faithful New Balance 860’s…First job this morning is to order a new pair off the internet…Unless this specialised sports shop I know in Otley has a pair.
A lazy Sunday now, Mrs Fox has got a chicken cooking slowly in the oven, and I’m going to select a palatable red wine from the cellar…
:wine_glass:
Cheers…

Good afternoon good folks! The weather has improved intensely - it is now 6C - so we strolled along the Ronan Road with the wee dog. She likes scampering around in the trees and bushes.
