Morning all!
Still quiet here, which is really nice. It’s gotten cold for here, so all the creatures are trying to get inside. There’s a bird that keeps trying to get in a closed glass window. I put up some removable painters tape on the window but just decided to put a cardboard in front of it also.
I was hoping for a relaxing day but had an agitating day instead.
Maybe today will be my day of relaxation. I hope.

Good Morning All.
It is also cold here, with a cold wind and rain forecast.
A busy day yesterday, my main carer came with his wife and daughter.44House cleaned from top to bottom, techie teenage daughter did techie things, new doorbell linked to phone, apps updated, all 3 external doors have motion sensor video and voice, all uploaded to the cloud.
The patio doors are covered by an internal camera linked to my phone.
She is definitely getting more teenage now, did it all without saying a word.
Today will be an exercise day for me, sit down exercises for my legs.

Cloudy & cold, but dry …
… which is good, as I’m going planting trees in a local park this morning
Nothing planned for the afternoon
EDIT -I’ve changed my mind on the tree planting
I used to go hill walking in all weathers, summer & winter, and I have plenty of good clothes
However, I’ve just walked about 2 or 300 yards towards the park and I’m just not warming up
The ground & puddles are frozen and there’s frost on the grass & cars
So I decided that I’m getting too old for that sort of thing, but I’ll go out with the group in warmer weather
Now the kettle’s on; I’ll make a cup of tea with a splash of rum in it, and get back to bed for an hour or two

Good Morning from Foxy’s World… 
I think I may have bitten off more than I could chew yesterday…
I decided that 8 miles on the bike (The Short Course) was not enough, so to test the knee I would extend my ride to 11 miles…It turned out to be very cold, and just like Zuludog I don’t seem to be able to keep warm anymore. Consequently, I arrived home with very painful fingers, and just short of hypothermia. I had to sit down because I was feeling very light headed. It’s a good job that Mrs Fox wasn’t home yet else she would have confiscated the bike…
Anyway, a hot shower and some good 5 star food (plenty of carbs) soon had me back to rights…
In Other news…
It was my daughters 50th birthday yesterday…
Just to think, she is now old enough to come on the forum…
Jogged and walked round a 5 mile mile route this morning, and pleased to report that there were no lasting effects from yesterdays foolhardy expedition…
It’s chilly by here today, but no frost, unlike yesterdegg.
I abused my body again yesterday so it will be a quiet day for me. In our house, DIY is known as self-abuse.
It’s my Lovely Cousin’s turn to cook today so I’ll be doing the washing up. At some point I’ll have a shower, well it is nearly Yuletide so I am due one this year. I would prefer a scrub and tub, but the bath is full of my Uncle/FiL’s care and mobility aids.
It’s rather incongruous that all the stuff we have to ensure he doesn’t fall when he moves about has caused tripping hazards for the rest of us.
