Good morning all. Even the weekends seem to go quickly these days.
It was not raining when I set off for my walk this morning though the ground was wet from overnight rain (4mm), in fact by the time I was on the homeward stretch the sun had come out (alas it did not last for more than an hour or so)
It is very grey out now though it hasn’t actually rained. After my walk and subsequent shower I worked on my epic video “Making Porridge” but since then have not done much, looked at the forum, read a bit more of my book, downloaded another episode of “The Testaments” and pondered things.
I am thinking of making a little velveteen bag for a small video light, not sure if it offers much protection but it should keep the bits together and it keeps me off the streets. (I think it is velveteen, it is like a furry fabric I bought ages ago for another job and had heaps left over).
You are very lucky to have the ability to fly your drone, we have so many restrictions here in the UK.
I was hoping to offering to host you , OGF and wife and Ripple for a meetup,
I have 3 spare bedrooms and have hosted people before, all good fun.
Unfortunately not a chance to happen,in the next 2 to three weeks I will be in a Care Home for 2 to 3 Months whilst they are repairing the fire damage.
A complete nightmare for me.
Soap Operas, Bingo and Sing Alongs are not my thing, neither is bland mushy food.
Dashing around like a whirlwind this morning while it’s still relatively cool!
Chores must be done and the final wash will soon be on the line. This of course excuses me getting all factored up and heading off to our local for some more photography and live music this afternoon. Never seen Bushman Bros before, I believe they’re very good👍
A swelter of a day yesterday , and no ice cream , I slipped up there,I must put it on my shopping list .
Its the sort of heat that you just want to sit and chill and thats what Im doing again today .
Enjoy your day whatever you are doing and keep safe in the sun friends .
Hot and dusty on the lane this morning…But I love it…
I went early and managed to put in quite a lot of jogging which resulted in a decent time.
Mrs Fox has got the beef casserole in the oven and there’s a bottle of cider chilling in the fridge.
The Canada F1 qualifying and sprint race recorded on the Humax are waiting for an afternoon viewing, but the race will be shown in the early hours tomorrow. Too late for me…
Bank holidays are no place for the retired, so I’ll keep a low profile until the kids are back at school and the parents are back at work…
Sounds like a great idea Swim, and thanks for the invite, although it sounds like it will be later in the year…
Just cut down some large branches overhanging from next door. they were beginning to damage my garage roof. The neigbour was told about it some time ago but did nothing about it. so now he has some clearing up to do in his back garden as I put them there
It is actually illegal to keep and destroy so he got the lot back
