Good morning to everyone on this rather cloudy day. Nothing like as nice as yesterday but at least no rain is forecast.
Went out early for my trip to the supermarket for milk, I intend to have bangers and mash for dinner tomorrow night so bought a couple of potatoes. Couldn’t resist a pack of roasted nut bars either.
Spent the rest of the morning in the garden cutting up some of the branches I chainsawed off my trees yesterday. It seems to be possible to get so much more in the green bin if you chop everything as small as possible. So much so that the bin appears to be only two thirds full, something I would have thought possible when I viewed the foliage before I cut it up.
While I was in the garden I noticed that some of my plants near the bird bath are in flower, again I have absolutely no idea what they are but they seem to do well without human intervention (my favourite kind of plant)
The roller-coaster that is my heart continues it’s ride, yesterday my pulse which is normally low 50s shot up to 120 and I was very dizzy, dropped back to normal during the night but now racing away again.
Boringly confined to bed again and taking the agina sprays etc.
Going to try and get some sleep and hope things settle down.
Good Morning good People,a fine calm one hear but a bit o’ chill in the air…Just picked a load of Blueberries in the garden so will have some with yoghurt and freeze the rest…Pigeons have been going mad in the trees at the bottom of the garden and there’s leaves everywhere,Autumn coming early?..feels like it…Have a lovely Sunday All and ((((((((hugs)))))))))) to Those who are poorly.x
Morning everyone…
Still no rain here and the farmers have got massive sprinklers irrigating what’s left of their crops.
There are going to be some very expensive spuds this winter.
I was out early for my walk/jog this morning and managed to complete a useful five miles out in the country, occasional glimpses of the sun, and it seemed it was a lot warmer than the 16 degrees C when I set off. Apparently it’s going to get warmer over the next few days.
With the bank holiday tomorrow I certainly won’t be going anywhere near the usual hotspots.
I stand for hours Bruce with the secateurs snipping away at all the branches I’ve trimmed off the holly and the other bushes. Like you say, it’s surprising how much it condenses the rubbish down in the wheelie bin.
I’m going to strip an old smartphone down later to see if I can get it working…Nothing to lose if I can’t. It was one of a cheap pair of alcatel pixi phones Mrs fox and me bought a few years back and never really took to them.
Chicken for Lunch, with a tasty bottle of red and entertainment provided by youtube…Probably sixties stuff…
Those heart rates must be very concerning @swimfeeders. I must admit I would hate being confined to bed but needs must.
I feel very fortunate that my “conditions” are far less irksome, I have wonderful painkillers for my back, to be honest I never noticed any effect of my blood pressure tablets when I was made to take them. The cancer is bugger all at the moment just a 6 monthly (expensive) trip to a specialist. Basically life is fine, I am out and about, without the scares that you are subject too.
