Good morning everyone on another lovely spring like morning.
Yesterday I mentioned that I was going to charge my lantern, it is one I keep in the camper for use in the evening when travelling. I discovered the battery was flat which was a surprise but I put it on charge.
While it charged the light was on. Once it finished charging the light remained on and was obviously the reason for the battery being flat. Pulled the thing apart to see if I could find the fault but there was little chance of that, all the components on the printed circuit board were minute - I could hardly see them never mind fault find.
Toyed with the idea of putting a switch in the battery circuit but decided to order a new lantern from Amazon as it was only $35 and would be here before the end of the month.
After that failure I thought it was wise to turn on the fridge in the car (mains power) to check that that still works too.
Probably going to spend a lot of the rest of the day sitting in the garden enjoying the sunshine.
