Howdy all. Went to come here this morning, already forgotten my password!

Bumped into a friend today who I last saw in 1993, just happened to walk past each other in the street. Funny when life throws something like that at you…pleasant!

Yep, definitely agree with you there! Not sure about you but after reading that one I was having to hurriedly whisper ‘down boy!’ at my trouser region!

G’day all. Phew, it was warm last night, close.

Been teaming this morning: scheduled weekly MS Teams meetings, then off to the Portuguese Deli to stock up on wine, cheese, Palma ham, chorizos, and stuff. Now taking it easy, thinking it’s about time I owned an electric screwdriver! Everyone’s got one nowadays.

Fat chance. But Mrs G is welcome to try. :grinning:

Although given the heat at the moment, the idea has its appeal.

Graham are visiting the Sulpher springs in Iceland on your itinery? if not I do haved video I can put up. The giant gyser when we were there had a rock fall blocking it

The wine’s doubled in price in about the last 4 years, but the nosh is still good value.

Thanks @Janicelain, and nice to meet you.
Maybe this year is a good one for basil, seeing that you’re having lots of sunshine and heat in the UK , needs water every day and doesn’t want direct sunlight all day long. I make pesto sauce with basil, I suppose it doesn’t count as a “saucy story”?

Haha!

TBH, I’m not entirely sure. We booked all this months ago. We are looking at some springs, a crater, a puffin watch and some other stuff as part of a guided tour around the area. Everything is dependant on the weather on the day.
