Good Morning Sunday, 21st June 2026

Good morning all, same old, same old, a sunny day but there is a taste of winter chill in the air.

Went for a walk on a route I only do occasionally as it involves returning exactly the same way as I went - better than nothing though.

Spent most of the morning collecting all the bits and pieces for my UK trip, I already have put aside the clothes to take but now I have my medicines, pain killers, USB charging cables, book etc sorted.

Did a test weigh, my two carry on bags are about 4kg each and my suitcase less than 12 kg so I have room for more if I need it. Only 9 days to go before I leave.

Have been desperately looking for that velveteen material I bought but it has hidden itself well, so frustrating.

Anyway have a super Sunday.

Take care…

Morning all!

Phew… here we go!:sun_with_face::sun_with_face::sun_with_face:
There’s a Royal Marsden charity festival being held in a local park today. Live music, bouncy castle, food etc. Also some kind of football match, rather them than me!

I’m going to knock up a basic picnic, a pasta dish, home made garlic bread, olives etc.

Just something nice and light as far as the wine is concerned, something weather appropriate and very, very well chilled.

Right, I’d better get a wash in the machine and start prepping up that garlic bread!

Try and have a cool day people! :sunglasses::sunflower::v:

Good morning all

A beautiful sunny Sunday, very quite and calm at the moment , it was DIY Saturday yesterday , lots of neighbours working on projects .

Ive nothing planned today ,Son is in Germany , drove over on Friday to the Nurburgh Ring and is returning today .

My next Theatre trip is a play in the week but temps are forecast to be 32c, and Im debating whether to go or not, it will be very hot on the bus trip in and out .

I had my Picnic in the park last week, there was a jazz Band , nice to be out in a crowd, enjoy yours. @Chilliboot

@Bruce Im sure you will forget something for your trip here, but you will be able to buy if you do .

Have a wonderful day everyone .

I saw Graham Hill crash in his BRM at the Nurburgring a rather long time ago. I think Sterling Moss won

I think it was banned as a Formula One track back in the 1960s because it was too dangerous. The F1 race I watched was pretty exciting though it was a bit like Le Mans where the cars zoom past then you don’t see them again until they next zoom past. Most of the circuit is not visible just the bit in front of you.
