Good morning to one and all on this rather dull miserable day.
1.5mm of rain overnight, I have decided to have a food free day, so it’s tea and coffee only for me.
Am going through my list for my upcoming trip, looking in boxes, checking things are still where I think they are…
Also had a clear out in the cupboard a couple of packets of noodles were several years past their “best before date”, one packet dated 2025 has been reprieved. The problem is not the noodles but the flavour packets tend to congeal.
All not very exciting but it is a damp Sunday, what can you expect?
Well glory be! The fifth heatwave is finally over, had the best night’s sleep in quite a while, we might even be blessed with a little rain today Nothing much planned but that’s how I like my Sundays.
It’s a perfect morning here in the midlands - blue sky, sunshine, and much cooler, which means my energy has returned!
We’re off to town today, and the beautiful river Avon, where it will be crammed with visitors and tourists - restaurants, cafes, and pubs will be doing a brisk trade no doubt.
Hi all
it’s hard to believe but it’s been cloudy here today no rain but clouds , heavenly cloudiness what a joy .
Hope to see rain later this week hooray!

Lazy day here nowt to report just cleaning polishing dust demolishing .
Well Anise, if you don’t me mind asking what part of the UK do you live in - just roughly for the weather scene. As I mentioned we got some rain earlier today and a probability for some tomorrow. And yes, has been intolerable in the last few months here - almost like the Sahara Desert when I was there…
West midlands, not far from Warwick Besoeker - we’ve had a number of wildfires in the region during the last few days, including Stourbridge, where several homes were destroyed.
Scary stuff - hoping for some rain this coming week.
