Yes, John has been less than enthusiastic about walking these days, and I know she is 11, but it does seem quite sudden (and the weather doesn’t help). I hope having a new space to explore will rejuvenate her, together with a teaspoon of this GP. Do you give it straight, or mix it with food?
It’s usually mixed with her food - and it has to be mixed in quite well, because she has been known to leave as much as she can in the bowl if it’s not mixed in . Mind you it looks, and smells, pretty disgusting, so I imagine it tastes pretty bad too
Yes It does look a bit awful. I’ll mix it in with her teatime food and see how she takes to it. I usually give her a snack at 9 to stop her biley tummy, so if she misses tea, its not such a bad thing. I’ll just have to think of something else. Thank you so much…I’ll update with results!
Better give me a spoonfull it sounds wonderful, and might be just the tonic I need to get me back running again…
although today’s six was quite swift, even in the rain…
This red wine I had with me dinner is making me drowsy…Though…
It’s not specifically for dogs, Foxy. I know people who have a teaspoon of it daily stirred into yoghurt. I have arthritis but I can’t take it because there are contraindications with some medication I’m on. Can’t have any turmeric based remedies at all.
I was looking at those Tumeric remedies for people as well, but I need to look into it more with regard to meds etc. Its such a shame, Sheba, because it seems quite the elixir for us!
Thanks Sheba, I do take turmeric every day in my porridge…
Raining when we got up, raining when I went out for my newspaper, raining now. When will it ever stop?
Have a look at this site Pixie. It explains some of the contraindications of turmeric. https://www.medicinenet.com/who_should_not_use_turmeric/article.htm
Yes, still raining. My wife and I walked the dogs about 0930. Then I did a longer walk and it’s still raining. It’s going to be a wet week…
Thanks Barry
