Good Morning Sunday 12/09

You seem to be the only one that thinks that cat is just a visitor:)

Good grief - did ‘they’ forget to plumb it in?

Got my washing done and on the line first thing so it dried well before lunch. As predicted a warm, sunny day with a bit of a breeze.

Went for my walk, not a cloud in the sky.

Good morning everyone

Have my little grandson Stanley staying over…I always sleep with one eye open when he is here…its like a half sleep

I watched Emma win the open…wasn’t she good I was so pleased for her and she dealt with the win so well thanking her family and everyone for their support. Can you believe the prize was 2.5 million dollars and she is only 17 years old!

Taking little Stanley out for lunch later then back home to my sons…hope it stays dry

Have a good day everyone

Good morning all, warm and sunny forecast here too, so no complaints. :sunglasses:

We are off to a food festival this morning, my favourite sort of event :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:, and then a long walk along the river this afternoon, the perfect day…

Have a pleasant Sunday everyone

How lovely - the one I normally go to was cancelled because of C19.

Hi

How lovely for you Summer, they are great when they are little.

They are so funny.

Millie, just six, was here with her Mum yesterday, and her French Bulldog puppy, Paris.

They work as a pair and run rings round me.

Good morning all.

Oh Swimmers, did the overflow come out, not in properly?

Looks like its going to be a nice day here, so sitting in the garden today.

Have a nice day all.

good morning all looks like a reasonable week weatherwise, just as well off form the week to the Isle of Anglesey

Morning all.

Barry, that all sounds lovely. Enjoy. Where are you ‘near’ in Dorset? (No need to be specific, lol.). A beautiful county. Thoroughly enjoyed my trips there to Bournemouth. . I loved getting the bus from B, through Sandbanks, to Swanage, then I’d take it round to Poole, stop off awhile and back to B. Never got to visit West Bay, though, which I’d have loved to.

Thoroughly resting today after a hectic birthday ‘weekend’. I ache all over now, and am quite stiff. I will have a leisurely shower shortly, breakfast, then consider collecting Holly, sometime between 9-9.30.

Instead of cooking a roast dinner, I will heat up yesterday’s Chinese take away.

@Jazzi We are staying in a small village near Dorchester Jan, yesterday we went to Studland and Corfe Castle which were packed with people but who can blame them, a lovely sunny Saturday in early autumn is as good as it gets for a day on the beach. We have relatives all over Dorset including Christchurch way so we are hoping to meet up sometime this week for a meal and a catch up. A lovely county though indeed.

Good Morning all, lovely day here. my son is going to take a chain saw to a neighbours tree that overhanging our garden today. We’ve told him but I hope it doesn’t come to chainsaw wars. :flushed:

Good morning everyone :slightly_smiling_face: a beautiful autumn day with a thick mist across the fields.

Heading for a hot shower after taking Chloe out , then after preparing a lunch of chickpea curry I think i might do some work in the garden. I have some Iris bulbs on order so can get a spot ready for planting and mow the lawns.

I think I might go to bed tonight after 5 nights on the sofa, what a joy that will be. I can carry Chloe up to her ‘upstairs bed’ , she only gets up in the night to have a drink so I can make sure she has that without having to go downstairs.

Enjoy your day.

Hi

No problem at all for you and son, he is looking after you.

I had a similar situation with rich and aggressive neighbours and their arrogant Solicitor.

I complied exactly with the law, I returned all the overhanging branches to comply with their Solicitors Threats.

I used a laser to give them 2.5 cm overhang, an inch in real life ,and delivered the cuttings to them all over their drive and front door and cars.

I complied with the law exactly.

I was left alone after that.

Good morning everybody, a bit dull here, but at least it’s dry so I’ve got some washing on. Up a bit later this morning after the late night last night watching the tennis. What an amazing win for one so young!

Nothing particular planned for today, but I will be doing something in my sewing room after being away from it for a week with the builders in!

Enjoy your day everyone

Hello - Getting our flu jabs this morning. The weather looks fine so we’ll be walking/wheeling there and back. About 35 minutes each way.

I might attack tidying up the garage later. Not used for the car but as a general workshop and storage room. The beer fridge, a second freezer and the bikes are kept in it. All sorts of other things.

Good morning all :slightly_smiling_face: a lovely sunny day here.

Nothing planned as Mr Mags hasn’t been feeling too good for a couple of days. Maybe I’ll try to get to sit outdoors for some fresh air later

Enjoy your day folks….

LOL - all of my neighbours have garages - and not one of them uses them for the cars!

Good morning everybody.

Today Tony & I are going round the hardware shops. I need masonry paint, golden gravel & some edging. We are restyling a wall area that previously had ivy growing up it.

No other plans but will probably go a walk round the park & call for a drink at W/spoons.

Have a good day all. :grinning:

One of the ladies who stayed behind in Norwich bought coffees for us both in W/spoons, and we had a refill. I asked for decaf, as we were now in the afternoon.

Barry, I loved seeing the castle in the distance from the bus, but never been in to visit. Enjoy your time in Dorset. (PS, miss my trips to Monkey World!)

Been doing the rubbish, ready for Tuesday’s collection, and cleared the fridge. Again!! Lots of old veg, especially. I now need to stock up, but staying with Holly today after not seeing her for 3 days. Maybe she will let me go to the SM tomorrow and not kick up a fuss.

Put tablets into the plastic strips, cut up the labels from the boxes, for discard. Found a birthday card so that has saved me a quid. I did get asked (by the lady who was sick Friday) if I wanted to see her today, and sit out in the sun, but I said I had lots to do. I have had, all little chores, that needed attention.
