Good Morning Saturday, 31st May 2025

Good morning all, another month is nearly over and with it the end of Autumn, tomorrow is the first day of Winter. Brrrr…

My daughter arrived last night with the dog and my present.

Today she has driven down to Nowra for some fourbie event while her husband is at Sydney Motorsport Circuit doing his thing. Meanwhile, today I look after the dog.

My present is currently sitting in the back yard.

it is a replacement tailgate for the one I put a ding in.

I hope it fits. Will try it tomorrow.

Enjoy your weekend.

Take care…

A Sunny and warm day ahead. Might take a wander across to the car boot sale this morning and walk somewhere this afternoon …or just doze in a chair outside seeing as how I didn’t sleep well last night.

Have a good day.

Morning all – lovely sunny start to the day :sunny:

The deed is done! I have booked my flights to Australia. :airplane: I sent a message to my brother to let him know and he has yet to respond! I think he is probably busy putting his house on the market and finding a place somewhere in the bush to move to and hide!

As I will be there for Christmas I am now wondering what I can take as Christmas presents for them all – I want something typically British but can’t be too heavy as they will be packed in my suitcase – any ideas?

Dinner with the neighbours last night was very enjoyable – as always. I am really lucky to have such lovely people living next door.

Plans for today are laundry and shopping, with possibly a little light housework

Take care – have a lovely day

Morning everyone

Dry and cloudy here in southern Hampshire. Not a lot happening today, a few small errands and that’s it. May decide to go down to the beach, sit in the car and have fish and chips whilst watching the cruise ships sail past - as we’ll be on one ourselves in a few weeks.

Have a great day all

:+1:  :passenger_ship:

Good Morning Everyone… :039:
The early morning visit to Tesco is out of the way, but later than usual. I forgot my wallet and had to return home…Where is my head at?
Spent the day repairing the woodwork on the fascia of the summer house and decided to clad it with something. Although structurally sound, there is some unsightly patches of rot, so cladding will hide it.
Rest day today though, so just off to find a nice meal at a popular garden centre about 40 miles away. When there’s thinking to be done, you can’t beat a relaxing drive…
