Good morning all, another couple of millimetres of rain overnight, saves me watering my plants before I go perhaps?
Not much to tell you, went through my packing to make sure I had packed what I thought I had packed (does that make sense?) so now am basically I am waiting for Wednesday. In a senior moment I thought I was actually leaving on Tuesday but it does give me an extra day to prepare. Rang my brother last night to make sure that he is picking me up from the airport.
Just remembered that my membership of my local club expires at the end of this month so I went on line to renew it (it is raining after all), will pick up the card on Monday.
I suspect the rest of the day will be spent indoors.
What an enjoyable start to the day, watching the storm over morning coffee before first light. Most dramatic and seems to have cleared the air somewhat!
Armed forces day today! Commencing with a parade in town, then some stalls, hands on type set ups where us civvies are invited to handle weapons etc and just generally have a chat. I’ll be taking a camera.

Morning all – a lot cooler start to the day maximum temperature forecast to be 28c
My brother rang this morning, always lovely to hear from him – even if it was only 7.30am! We had a long discussion about his current and future cancer treatment but as it was starting to get a bit depressing changed the subject and were soon laughing and joking. He offered advice on how to deal with the hot weather (all of which I had to tell him I already knew!) and he was moaning about how cold it was in Australia!
While my neighbours are in Spain I am watering their garden – it is almost killing me! I come back home and collapse in a hot sweaty mess!
Today’s exciting plan is laundry and grocery shopping

What do you have for breakfast anything nice ?
I’m going to loath ( is that spelling correct ) today as still suffering coughing, sniffing and sneezing not a pretty sight.
