Good morning to everybody enjoying the weekend. It was a lovely morning here but is starting to cloud over for rain this arvo.

Took the dog for an early morning walk, she really seems to enjoy the walk,doesn’t seem to matter where we go she is interested in everything.

When I got back home I got stuck into the serious business of moving all my potted plants to a shady place where they will get maximum benefit from any rain.

Then started loading stuff into the car, I am only taking 20 litres of water this time and 20 litres of fuel, probably 80% of the packing is now done. Even found time to wash the camper.

I thought the dog was going to be picked up today but it is just gone into arvo and no sign of its master yet.

Good Morning All.

A nice day forecast.

Perhaps you will have a new 4 legged companion on your travels Bruce?

I am in full annoyed mode this morning, got scammed on Ebay, item I paid for is completely different to the rubbish which arrived.

It is like being back at work, I will be getting my money back.

I am however losing a battle with the timer plug on the aquarium lights, it has a mind of it’s own.

Corals, like fish, are animals and need to sleep, they get stressed otherwise.

All good fun, gives my brain some exercise.

Breakfast will be different,I have 2 stale Hot Cross Buns which I forgot about and which will be going in the toaster.

Morning all – cloudy start which is forecast to last most of the day with the chance of light rain

The parcel I was expecting yesterday didn’t arrive until 6.00 p.m.!! I was not a happy bunny – the same driver had delivered a parcel to a house across the road at 10.00 a.m. so it seems a waste of the driver’s time that he had to come back again. I don’t blame the driver, it’s those who organise the deliveries who need to get their act together!!

Hmm you have just reminded me I have a hot cross bun left over swimfeeders - perhaps I will toast it for a mid-morning snack!

Today the plan is a trip to the shops, some housework and laundry (yes I know very exciting!)

Good morning - A friend from my early to late teenage years is visiting this afternoon. We’ll be going another of the gang (group)-member’s house from here. Three old teenagers together once again. :slight_smile: Mrs mart is baking a cake because she knows he is coming.

A quiet day at the Foxes with highlights consisting of an early visit to Tesco, a drive to Cleethorpes for lunch and a browse, at a favourite garden centre with a decent shop, and a visit from the family for tea later. With all those heads we should do well with the 1% club…

Went to a fleamarket, (no fleas were present). Bought a few items & saw plenty of people we knew there.

Afternoon all. Just got back from a photoshoot in a nearby woodland and taken the wife out for lunch and do some shopping. Getting ready to take her to a show early tomorrow morning and stay overnight, coming back Monday. Gone are my days of long-distance driving, I can’t be bothered with it these days.
