Good Morning All.
Another bad night, but a nice start weatherwise to the day.
Another acute shortage of carers, a wedding anniversary, a birthday and a visit from friends being the causes this weekend.
I am however stocked up with food and drink, so life is not too bad.
I also have a nice unexpected project, a real blast from the past.
A review of an Expert Witness statement I made 16 years ago which is now being quoted in a current set of proceedings.
It will pay very well.

Dry but dull and quite cold
Or perhaps that’s just me as I was tired yesterday and had an early night, but I’m still not feeling too lively this morning
But I had planned on an easy day anyway -
I’ll visit the second hand tool stall in a local town to take a poster & leaflets for the Men’s Shed, and have a chat with the owner
It’ll be an easy trip as I’ll catch the bus
Then back home and might do some easy tidying this afternoon

My dear old Dell laptop is playing up, hence my tardy opening message. When I get home I will be ordering a new one.
I was getting a bit low on fuel when I got to the Barkly Homestead, the wind is playing havoc with my fuel economy - am using 13+ Litres per 100km (normally 10 to 11 when towing) so it was a relief to fill up.
As you leave there is a warning sign:
I don’t know if you can read it - says “Warning No Fuel for 260km” My 20 litre can wouldn’t get me that far.

Morning all. Another sunny day here by the seaside.
Had a letter recalling my new(ish) car back to the dealer to remedy a possible fault, so need to sort this out before doing much else. Might go for a wander along the seafront afterwards as Mrs G likes to watch all the cruise ships sail past, knowing we’ll be on one ourselves soon.

The Sun is up with some cloud about. Quite warm and breezy. No plans at all for the day but something usually turns up that needs doing. Might just spend time playing around on the computer and generally sitting about. Chance would be a fine thing but you never know.

Morning all – sunny with cloud today
Had a phone call from my brother this morning – there is a delay to Mum’s funeral. Apparently as Mum’s doctor is unwell the Funeral Director had to apply to the Coroner for permission to proceed. Just wish I was there to help my brother and give him a hug as he is finding it all very distressing.
Very little planned for today except a visit to the hairdresser

Did they say what the fault on your car specifically to your car or was it under a general recall. Having had a general recall on a previous car I asked for printed proof the fault had be corrected. It could save a lot of hassle if selling late on
It is a possible design fault on the fuel line which may affect my car and several similar models. The recall notice is on the Gov site, along with my tax and MOT details, but I have not been told to stop driving it, just get it checked out a.s.a.p.
