Good Morning Saturday, 15th November 2025

Good morning to you all even though it is mid arvo for me.

I have just arrived in a small town called Harden in the Hilltops district of NSW. I didn’t leave home until 11am because I only had 300km to drive mostly on the Hume Highway. I have been here several times before - the cafe does a very good fish and chips.

Will tell you more after a coffee

Take care

Good morning!
Cloudy, dull & light rain … y’know, like autumn …

A bit of tidying & last night’s washing up, then I’ll carry on with repairing the old fireside bellows
I’ve done all the patching & fitting of the old wooden parts
Today I hope to make a pattern for the leather parts from wallpaper, perhaps even more

Good morning - We’ll soon be going to pick up our son from Heathrow. Then back here to settle him in and then onto the hospital for a visit. Son is staying for the next two weeks.

Have the best possible day

Good morning all…

A nice and bright Saturday morning here on the south coast. Not sure what’s happening today. There is a Christmas Fair on just up the road from me and maybe wander in a little later for a look round. They also have volunteers to do Victorian military re-enactments, which is natural camera fodder. Possibility of shopping later and a good chance of a breakfast fry-up sometime, not to mention a large coffee at some point.

Have a great day all…

Good morning all!

Up very, very early again today. Just been to the gym to thrash my legs…

Won’t be jogging or sprinting tomorrow! :open_mouth:
Popped in to the spooky pub on the way home for a quick one and to see who’s around.
The landlady has indie music playing this morning :+1::notes:

The re- enactment event sounds superb Graham, enjoy!

Have a good day people! :+1:

Good morning from the fog and condensation world of Florida!

It’s a slick mess out there; we are socked in, and the dogs are tracking in mud. It must be Florida!

@mart, I’m thrilled your son will be able to stay for two weeks, that is probably the best medicine you and Mrs. Mart could have.\

@Bruce, Harden looks like a nice little community. This little town is akin to towns in our plains states, surrounded by small wheat and cattle farms. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.

That’s outstanding, @zuludog ! Functioning bellows are a rare site in the U.S., most of them found in homes and inns in the NE part of the country. Post a picture when you are finished!

@Graham, that sounds like a very nice plan for a Saturday. Let us know how the re-enactments go.

That’s great @Chilliboot know that skipping leg day is a fitness sin to most guys, so that cool reward was well-earned. It tickles me that men are ever wanting to bulk up their legs, while we women will do anything to slim them down. Long ago, my neighbor was mowing his lawn wearing ankle weights, and I asked him if he was going skiing. He replied, “No, I am just trying to get my legs to look stronger and more muscular like yours!” I told him that if he wanted to keep his head, to never, ever say that to another woman as long as he lived   .

I guess if there’s ever a field to plow, I might come in handy  :woman_shrugging:

Nothing exciting here today except dog factory (washing the three dogs) and helping my daughter with some editing.

Have a peaceful day and stay strong !

Hi

Well the rain has almost stopped, the more active locals are out clearing branches off the roads and unblocking the leaves on the street gullies.

No point in waiting for the Council to do it and clear the roads.

The flood barriers are up in town, the 3 big car parks closed and the river is rising rapidly, middle of the afternoon, 8C heating and lights on.

All good fun.

Have a good day all,
