Good morning everyone, isn’t it Valentines Day? I expect you are all busy perusing your Valentines cards, personally I am not overburdened with cards however it’s the weekend too which can’t be bad.
I got ready to go for my walk this morning when I realised it was actually raining, I had to wait until after 7.30am before it stopped so I could set off. Very overcast as you can imagine and I took my umbrella though I didn’t actually need it as it happened.
On the way home called into the Vietnamese bakery for a dozen wholemeal rolls to freeze also bought a croissant for my breakfast.
Really haven’t done much during the rest of the morning except sprayed my new shoes with Scotchgard, even turned on the TV and watched an episode of “How to get to Heaven from Belfast” on Netflix.
Am hoping it will dry up this arvo so I can cut up a bit more foliage for the green bin.
Apart from that looks like a very quiet day. Enjoy your Saturday.
What a surprise! I can actually see a bright blue-sky sunny day down here on the south coast.
Not really sure what’s going on here, I need to take some stuff to the local recycling centre, followed by coffee (and a sausage sandwich), a bit of shopping and whatever else needs doing and a small surprise for the wife later. The weather is so nice I may be forced to take my camera out and go somewhere.
Up before the lark this morning as ever, it feels considerably later than just gone nine!
Just popped over the road to the convenience shop for one of my favourite brands of peanut butter, the sourdough bread will go into the freezer as fodder for the toaster. I do like the denser texture of sourdough
Today’s a day for household chores and getting prepped up for the week. It’ll probably be a case of settling down with a DVD and a selection of delectable snacks this evening.

A few things on the To Do List -
mend a bookshelf
see what food I have in the freezer and make a plan on using it up so I can defrost & clean it
mend a couple of tool bags from the Men’s Shed; I’ve had them for weeks but wasn’t able to do anything thanks to my flu
We’ll see how far I get
And as it’s a nice day I’ll go for a walk round the park & local streets, probably late morning or early afternoon, as I’ve hardly been out anywhere or had any fresh air for weeks
