The King’s Birthday public holiday is always the 2nd Monday in June for NSW and most states, for some reason Queensland has their King’s Birthday holiday in October but they’re a weird mob.

Gardener is due today – I hope the rain holds off and he can make it, if it is left much longer he is going to need a machete to cut down the grass. Now the birds have hatched and flown I need him to cut the hedges.
A wet day here today, never mind, a new mini heatwave is forecast to begin on Friday, not quite as hot as the previous one thankfully!
Today I’m watching the avacados ripen, that’s about as exciting as it’s going to get.
My usual film supplier/processer doesn’t stock Kodak 400 TX. So, I ordered a roll from a different firm. As you can see it arrived very nicely presented, the prepaid postage sticker is really handy, as is the quite robust box that can be used to return the film for processing, smart! I quite like the crazy little shark sticker too.
