Good morning everyone. Today my bliss knows no bounds!
My new laptop arrived so I have spent a lot of the morning and some of the early afternoon setting it up how I like it. Mostly involved deleting all the crap that new computers are stuffed with, plus junk like OneDrive and Xbox and downloading my favourite free files to set it up how I like it - have to get the language sorted - it wants “favorite” but that is a minor issue.
I did go to my Monday coffee and cake meeting this morning but I left early to make sure I didn’t miss the courier.
It has been a bit overcast today but I didn’t mind, I was busy indoors being a happy bunny…
Morning all - Bright warm sunny day down here by the seaside.
Today is take my car in to its dealer, having been recalled due to some dodgy fuel line issue. That means Mrs G gets to drive me around for once and the whole thing is an excuse for a good fry-up breakfast and coffee. Later when its all done, I’ll be sat on my PC for hours, if not days, going through all the pics I took yesterday at my paid photoshoot, which went better than expected.
Morning Folks…
No walk this morning, I decided to save my energy for the expected work I’m hoping to do today, so it’s a busy day with an early visit to B&Q for a new sander…And then you won’t see me for dust…
I hope to get it sanded and a coat of primer on the front of the summer house before it rains…
Remembered yesterday was a day of rest so didn’t get the ironing done!! Started a new book, part of a series, but gave up as it was basically going to be the same story set in a different part of US. Have another book by one of my favourite authors which I will make a start on later (after I have done the ironing!)
Only other plans for today are go visit the shop and pick up something as a thank you for my neighbour for fixing the damp patch in my porch. He won’t even charge me for the materials he used so I think he is due a nice bottle of wine (or two)
Just back from the optricians for a free NHS eye test. nothing much changed, and hopefully in December I should be OK for the DVLA (driving) one as well, according to the optician
